Rather talk? Ring 020 8077 4931, seven days.

Ringing gets you a figure fastest. Somebody real picks up 020 8077 4931 from 8am until 8pm, seven days, and most jobs are priced inside that first conversation. Prefer not to ring? Leave a postcode on the form and a callback reaches you within the hour while the line is open. Nothing is payable up front on domestic work.

Hours

Day Line open, cleaners working
Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm
Saturday 8am to 8pm
Sunday 8am to 8pm

Every hour in that table costs the same money. Saturday afternoon, Tuesday morning, bank holiday, all one rate, and nothing anywhere in the pricing resembles a call out charge. Mid mornings midweek go first, once the school run has cleared and before the high street seizes up.

Nobody picked up. Now what?

Whoever should have answered is probably halfway up a staircase with a hose over one shoulder. A postcode and one line about the job is enough, and somebody rings back before the day is out.

The street and the number matter more than the postcode

It sounds like fuss. It is the single most useful thing you can tell us. B1, Lewisham Central, is controlled Monday to Saturday from 9am to 7pm, and B2 also controls Sunday mornings from 9am to 1.30pm, so a weekend slot is simple on one road and a paid bay on the next. Greenwich runs its own permits entirely, being the Royal Borough rather than Lewisham. And the high street carries over thirty bus routes with a daily market beside it, so there is nowhere useful to stop a van near the shopping centre for most of the day and the driver needs your nearest residential turning. A street and a number settle all of that the evening before.

Which sort of building are you in

Three shapes cover nearly every address on this round. A flat in one of the Loampit Vale or Molesworth Street blocks means signing in at a desk, a timed loading bay and a service lift reserved with the building, so allow around twenty minutes at each end. A split terrace means two front doors with no hallway joining them, and if you are upstairs there is no route to the garden, the bins or the outside tap without the neighbour. A villa conversion on the higher roads usually means one shared door, an internal stair, no lift, and a communal hall belonging to the freeholder rather than to any tenancy.

Handy to have in front of you on the call

  • How many bedrooms the tenancy names, plus your handover date where this is a check-out.
  • Where the key lives: with an agent, in a safe on the wall, at a concierge desk, or in your pocket.
  • Whether the floors are going in front of a clerk, and whether the cooker amounts to more than one single oven. Neither of those rides in a band by default.
  • Room and flight counts for floor work, whether the hall and the landing carry carpet, and whether the downstairs middle wall is still standing.
  • Frequency, hours and the state of the bathroom for housework. On this water, scale forecasts a visit length better than bedrooms do.

The whole list in one table

What you want doing The figures
Whole property move-out Studio £156, one bed £207, two £243, three £339, four £425
Floors and rugs Room £36, living room £43, through lounge £61, flight £41, rug £35 or £51
Cookers and kitchen appliances Single £77, double £110, range £114, AGA £143, hob £23, extractor £28
Hourly housework Weekly £22, fortnightly £24, ironing £12
Team deep clean Two over three hours £186, three over six £498
Upholstery and curtains Dining chair £13, armchair £33, mattress £35, two seater £57, curtains £35 or £42

A one off booking has to clear £67. Hourly work never meets it. Why each figure sits where it sits is explained on the prices page, and the services page takes the jobs one at a time.

Paying

Money moves after the work rather than before it. Card works, Visa and Mastercard and Amex alike, and so do bank transfer and cash. Households on the weekly round generally set a transfer for month end. Landlords and letting agents are invoiced. Domestic work takes no deposit and nothing has VAT added.

Where the van goes

SE13 and SE8 first, then north west to New Cross, north to Deptford, north east into Greenwich, east over the railway to Blackheath, west to Brockley and south to Ladywell. The areas page walks the round properly. Sitting a street or two past the edge is still worth a call, because the run moves around over the course of a day.

Something missed

Same number, within 48 hours, and that item gets cleaned again for nothing. One morning on the phone beats a fortnight of email. If a clerk raised it, chase the written report and forward it, since an agent paraphrasing down a line seldom describes the item the way the page did.

Questions we get asked

How soon will somebody get back to me?

Inside the hour, at any point between 8am and 8pm. A call beats the form, because the price usually arrives in that same conversation. Should the line ring out, leave a postcode plus one line on the job and somebody rings you back the same day.

Can I book an evening or a Sunday?

Yes, at the ordinary rate. Somebody is working 8am to 8pm on all seven days and no premium sits anywhere in that. Evening slots go first, and they are easiest down in Ladywell, since that is where the vans finish.

Do I have to sort out parking for you?

Only to the extent of telling us the street and the number. B1 runs Monday to Saturday 9am to 7pm and B2 also controls Sunday mornings, so a bay gets sorted the evening before. Whatever it costs is what lands on the bill, with nothing on top.

When and how do I pay?

Once the work is done. Visa, Mastercard and Amex all work, as do bank transfer and cash. Weekly households mostly run a monthly transfer, landlords and agents are invoiced, and VAT goes on none of it.

Priced before we start. Every time.
